The International owners manual won't have a specification for how much oil to use in a Chevrolet air cleaner...
My posts contain my own opinions...your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.

Actually I am surprised a Chev air cleaner even fits the IH. I'm assuming Holley carb.? I have both GM and IH six cylinder engines here and those air cleaners would not inter-change without some modifications.

Holley 1904 yes and it fits perfectly, im not 100% sure its a chevy filter but ive seen the exact same one on almost every early 50s Chevy six
