Rear axle bearing

I'll second WEW's story. I drove my L all through high school and college I used to drive it on the interstate all the time and had no problems doing 65. It's a three speed with a 4.11 rear end.

Thanks for your comments, your descriptions sound like what I have. The "high beam " story has me intrigued, and I have no intention of doing that ever in this old truck.

I just pulled 3rd member and confirmed that I have 41/10 gear ratio.
