Jacking up the front of an l110?

Where should I put my floor jack to jack up the front of my l110 so that I can remove the wheels? I was going to try put a floor jack under each bumper mount (part of the frame) and then put jack stands there. Would that work? Originally, I had started jacking it up from the middle of the crossmember that attaches to the two front wheels, but all that did was start to flatten out the leaf springs, and I didn't want to brake them so I stopped.

It's perfectly fine to jack under the front axle. Don't worry about the leaf springs. You're not putting any stress on them that they don't have when the tires are resting on the ground.

Crossmember? I believe you mean the front axle, and yes that is where you should jack up your pick-up and place your jack stands. You won't break the springs.
