As far as tractors go, we know the gas engines on the 460, 560, 706 and 806 are derivatives of the SD, BD, and BG engines. [That's how I look up parts for the heat riser on these trucks...after comparing part numbers with my MT-63 parts book.]

Bow, there are some combines and other implements which used SD and BD engines that are even more similar to the truck engines...but I'm afraid that I never got familiar with them because, honestly those pieces of farm equipment were rare in my area. Seems most farmers went directly from the mounted corn pickers to the diesel-powered combines, and skipped right over the gas engine models. [And until the early 1970's, virtually nobody in these parts raised soybeans].

But the Case-IH website can be a big help when working with ag part numbers.
