Posted: Wed Apr 10, 2019 10:23 pmI have a rotary turret punch that allows me to make any size soft metal washer.
If a person has difficulty find a replacement soft metal washer, it is possible to anneal the copper, brass or aluminium washer by heating the washer with a propane torch. Let the washer cool on the bench. Do not immerse it in water.

Posted: Thu Apr 11, 2019 6:38 amAssuming you have a green diamond engine, and assuming the drain plug is the same size as the SD and BD plugs, I've had good luck with a nylon washer. Dorman 097-005.

Posted: Tue Apr 30, 2019 11:13 amThe copper drain plug gaskets are also available as Dorman 095005 or NAPA NOE 7041364. Also tractor parts places may carry this by the original IHC number 3405HA, used for many years on HD and GRD engines and many Farmall tractor engines.
