If you look at this listing on Fleabay I think it will give you an Idea of what the book covers, and there are at least three or so for sale on fleabay.:http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-1956-Hollander-US-Parts-Interchange-Manual-/400426998969?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item5d3b4f1cb9&vxp=mtr
hopefully someone here has one. looks like a good resource to have if you have different models in your stable.

Yeah, I saw the ones on ebay and want to buy it but if it does not cover certain things I am interested in, it would be a waste of money that I could put to use elsewhere. I was hoping someone had one and could tell me specifically if certain items are in there.
Thanks

Re: HOLLANDER INTERCHANGE PARTS MANUAL BOOK HOLANDER 46-56

I had a Hollander book a long time ago, found it kind of useless for International,

it would list stuff you could Make work,,,with welding and cutting, well yea,

if you are looking for small part interchange, like bearings or seals, a bearing catalog will do that,

or even components, but anything large like axles, engine, rear end, brakes etc. you'll get that info better here, from people who already did the swap,

but it is an interesting book if not too expensive, buy one.

Re: HOLLANDER INTERCHANGE PARTS MANUAL BOOK HOLANDER 46-56

I have one- Agree with john- pretty much useless.

I was hoping that it would tell me what kind of things like dome lights and door switches and locks and such translated over (and I know there's a lot). But for IH at least it doesn't cross over into other manufacturers that I've found. It will tell you what is common among IH models, but even that is limited and, I think, a little conservative.

Your money will be better spent getting the IH parts catalog for your truck (binder books) and using good old Google. I've found lots of stuff that way. And you can also walk into an auto parts store armed with the part # and skip the blank stares ("International? Who makes that?"). And if you don't have it yet, get the shop manual, too. These are the 2 best "tools" I ever bought.

Or just ask here- these guys are way better than a manual
"How the heck did that happen?"

I found mine, in pretty much new condition, as it didn't give me anything useful,

I'll give it to you if you want to pay actual postage on it. so you can have a look see.
