Chipped Cylinder

While working in the garage today, I managed to drop a tool on my engine. It left a small chip on the corner of the cylinder wall / head area. Does anyone this this will be an issue. I plan on boring the cylinders to 40 over, which would make it a little smaller.

Re: Chipped Cylinder

above ring travel, and gasket sits out a little from edge anyway, so in my opinion should be OK, others opinions may differ,

Re: Chipped Cylinder

Dress any sharp edge so it doesn't glow and cause pre-ignition.
