Windshield frame connectors

The connectors between the two windshield frame halves were in extremely bad shape so I made new ones.
They are made from alumin(i)um bar stock. The local Big Blue Box store had a .250 X 1.00 x 36 inch piece that had a bent end ($2).
The finished size is .250" X .500" X 4.250" long.
The two holes in each frame are spaced 1.00 inch apart O/C. The four threaded holes in the connector are machined to #10-32 tpi to match the frame pieces
The distance between the upper and lower set (2) of holes (where the two frames meet) is 1.3125 O/C.
