jack stand placement

Happy New Year All!

I am wondering if any of you have photos of your K/KB on jack stands. I am specifically looking at the rear. I have raised the front many times, but never the rear. Should stands be placed under the cross member or the frame? I have included a photo of where I placed mine. Thanks in advance.

Re: jack stand placement

That cross-member looks like the rear axle housing. Perfect placing. Nice four leg stand.
Just for your information. Never use a three leg axle stand. If you have any of the three leg stands, destroy them and put them in the scrap for recycling. The three leg stands are illegal in many states and all of Canada bacause they are dangerous and more than a few persons have had the three leg style collapse and kill them.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Re: jack stand placement

That is the rear axel housing and a four legged stand indeed. Thanks for the reply.
