When I first started working on cars as a sophomore in high school The Boss was under a car on a creeper on a snowy day. Snow and ice melting onto his face, he was having a very hard time. The droplight was stuck under his creeper. He yanked the droplight ripping off the guard and handle off, The exposed wires ran accross his hand causing him to slam his head against the transmission. Trying to get up he hit his head on the side view mirror.

We all laughed, except the boss.

Re: Engine Removal

Especially due to the fact that he was on his back in the snow.
I was in a crawl space trying to thaw a water line and suddenly a bubble formed on the line and the water line burst. The water poped the light bulb and all I instantly thought water and electricity and started rolling away. Crawl spaces are dark at night with no light.
I got out and told the wife were going to a motel for a couple days.
Now days we have ground fault plugs and led lights.
I get my high on heavy iron, the older and heavier the better I feel.

The loud cussing and hard pull on the drop light saved him! The burn line across his palm was a real HOOT!

He also blew up two new 12 volt batteries within three hours, he was leaning over one at the time. Also pancaked his "cigarette" boat after screwing with the stern drive after being told not to by the manufacturer. Funniest part of that was the video his wife made. a voice on the video "Oh GREAT dad F's up another vacation.
