Bench Seat Repalcement

What options are available as a replacement for the stock KB seats?

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

my KB-1 had early 60s Thunderbird bucket seats, one guy told me they were worth more than the truck!

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

Chevy pickup seats from about the early 2000s used built in seat and shoulder harness. Might be a good idea if they would fit without the center console.
Anyone have a truck and a tape measure?

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

i used late 90s early 2000s dodge mini van 3rd/very last seat and it fits very nice and is much more comfortable than the stock seat.

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

I ended up using a bench seat out of a late 90's S-10. The seat fits well but the back is a bit higher than i would like and cuts off a bit of the
rear window

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

The dodge 3rd row is likely the best bet as most were rarely used so they would be in excellent shape,,the ones I saw.

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

I just measured the 60/40 seats in my 91 toyota truck,,they would fit and are very comfortable and excellent for long trips and they have a fold down armrest in the middle. I used gm buckets that came with a project truck and an 88 olds console. The headrests are in the way on these seats as well as they would be on the toyota but as a safety feature I don't mind,,,a taller guy would have to remove them.

Re: Bench Seat Repalcement

I used bucket seats out of late 90's early 2000's GM small cars, like Sunfire, Cavalier, Grand Am, etc. For me they fit well and are comfortable and bolt right to the seat floor.
