KB8 Fenders

I am rebuilding a 1949 KB8. I am putting a different frame it - the front wheels need to be moved 1 1/2" to center the wheels in the fender. What are your opinions on moving the axle & springs up or build the fenders out or should I just leave the wheels not centered?
Thanks!

just me, but i would do whatever mods are needed to get the wheels center in the fender opening. i have seen new frame, old body trucks with what you are experiencing, and i just could not be satisfied with it being off.

Thanks! I went ahead and centered the wheels with the fender. Do you know where to purchase rubber door trim and cab trim, etc.?

Re: KB8 Fenders

jacknjilli on ebay sell a lot of the weatherstrip for these trucks, I think they are resellers though, don't know if you can get a better deal from the maker, I forget their name someone will chime in,

whatever you do: DO NOT BUY FROM PAT WALSH RESTORATIONS, he buys from these guys and marks it up about 400%, do your research, it's all out there,
