I had a 1937 GMC, and a couple late 30s chebbiez, and while these curvy pocket boxes are similar, they are a different animal,

all the GMC/chebbie boxes are completely bolted together, no welding, front panel to sides, bottom rear panel to sides, floor supports etc. (except pockets, and bed side support rails which are welded), you can unbolt any bad part and bolt on a new piece with a chebbie/jimmy box.

these curvy IHC boxes are all welded up, one piece units, well except wood and tailgate stuff, but you know what I mean.

not to say these parts didn't come from same supplier, they are just built different, what they do have in common also, is the support rod thru the front panel roll.
