Re: Parts Link

Hi guys,
I've been restoring your IHC instrument clusters for several years now, and I recently added this electronic tachometer to my list of services. It has the original-style faceplate and chrome outer-bezel as the factory KB's and it is the same outside diameter so it will fit into the original dash hole. The original tachs were a cable-driven mechanical style. This is an electronic unit made for a 12-volt system only. It can be programed for a 4, 6, 8 or 10 cylinder engine using a 12-volt system. It is a 4000 rpm operating unit, so check your engine rpms. Please feel free to call 218-849-2759 or email me (Larry) at lar@arvig.net for more information.

Water pump rebuild parts for GRD 213 with "cage" type impeller.

Kellogg Auto will also rebuild your pump for you. They were very good to deal with and quite knowledgeable. The cost for the rebuild parts were reasonable IMO. They do have parts for other IHC W/pumps. I spoke to Will. You should have the year, model and engine size before calling.

I have detailed how I rebuilt my water pump and will post that soon.

*Part Description: Gemmer Steering Boxes. Canadian built Trucks only.
Gasket kit 78-3581
Worm Gear bearings 68-3571
sector shaft bushings 78-3576
sector shaft oil seal 48-3591
*Source:Dennis Carpenter Ford

*Comments: Ford built Gemmer steering boxes under license. I found these parts under Ford trucks 1932 - 47 steering box parts. The bushings needed a bit of reaming and the sector shaft gasket bolt holes were a little out but all in all parts were a good fit and made a huge difference.

Re: Door hinge

Hi, guys I’m new to this forum. I have a 47 intl. kB 1 1/2 ton truck, I’m just starting to reassemble after I had some work done to chassis. I have misplaced door hinge to truck. Upper rt. Passenger door.
Does anybody have part to sell?

KB1 clutch bearing

I replaced the clutch release bearing on a 1949 KB1 ,green diamond engine with a FEDERAL MOGUL 2005 C. ( does not have to be Federal Mogul ) It is the bearing used IH in later years and can be found at multiple parts stores. It is about 1/4” longer but works fine.
