Need to look for your Chassis number(drivers side frame rail, somewhere close to the front spring hanger) May not be very deeply stamped and may be covered in grease/grim. Once you have that number(if your Data plate is there, that same number should be on it) (If they do not match, you have an issue) go to this page: http://content.wisconsinhistory.org/cdm ... 529/rec/12 click on the date then on the drop down For 1940-1946 or for 1947-1949

Re: 1946 kb5?

Out of gear, right? Block those wheels.
Sometimes a stuck accessory like a generator or waterpump will fool you. Loosen fan belt after you try to rotate engine with socket on generator. Try rocking generator pulley back and forth with your other hand putting tension on belt.
Nothing?
If cylinder head is off it can't hurt to soak cylinders with oil. 50-50 atf and acetone works good. Kroil works better but it's mail order.
CB will have more ideas.
When you try to crank with starter what happens?
