Rear Spring Modification KB2

What is your opinion on removing every other spring from the rear spring pack? (Assuming the hauling days are over). This would provide a smoother ride.
What you say?
Thanks,

Re: Rear Spring Modification KB2

I use the every other method. I would try 2 first, starting from the short end of the stackand see how it rides.

I have a KB-2...that still has all it's springs...I haven't had a chance to actually drive it down the road yet though. I can only imagine how it must ride...lol. I bet they were even worse when they were new and the springs weren't tired.

these trucks ride really sweet with about 500lbs. in the back, not so great for MPG though,

Back when I drove mine stock, I used it to haul fire wood, the bed would be piled higher then the sides. It's amazing the weight these old trucks could handle. Rode nice though.
