Nice! looks like the splitter is going to get a workout. Pretty twisted and knotty pieces you have there!

Most of it is going to my brother, and he has a good splitter. There is some fairly straight grain stuff in there too, but yeah, it is what we'd call in Maine a "wolf" tree,
I burn the slash a little at a time in a burn barrel. It is that or drag it to town where the town burns it. It is going to be too windy to safely burn for the next few days.

The wire cable on the winch and the wire slings in the side box were worth more than the price I paid for the whole truck. Best "tool" I ever bought. I don't drive it much, hasn't been registered in 10 years. One thing, it has spent most all of its life at idle so would likely benefit with new bearings in the bottom end. the bottom end rattles a bit at speed. I did the ones on it's sister, many years ago, just never got around to doing this one. I might even have a set somewhere.
