Hood latch

So cleaned and lubed the primary hood latch. And now it pops open after about 15 minutes of driving. What did the latch look like new? Mines looks rounded out. 1947 KB1

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not seeing how the primary latch functions in the pic. Might just be the resolution. I was going to weld it to build it up. But not sure how much. It states a cable and latch.
