I was walking around the massive Turkey Rod Run at Daytona International Raceway and spotted this beauty and it’s attached trailer. There was no info anywhere to detail either vehicle. The truck has a 1947 vintage Florida tag on it.

Sure looks like a nice build. You're right, would have been nice to gather the details of the truck. Can't quite figure the trailer piece though. Thanks for sharing!

Not sure what’s causing your puzzlement, but if it’s the fact the T-bucket looks elevated, it actually is on a raised stand between the trailer and car for display purposes. I get the feeling this rig doesn’t see many roadway miles.

I saw the stand and I guess because I"ve never seen a vehicle displayed on a trailer in that manner I was a little puzzled. I"ll have to put that show on my bucket (no pun intended lol) list. Looks like a good time.

It’s a huge show. The biggest in Florida. Next year will be the 50th year for it. If you come, prepare for a lot of walking or rent one of the available mobility scooters. The infield of Daytona International Speedway is gigantic and there are thousands of vehicles to see, including a car coral with hundreds (maybe a thousand) of vehicles. If you’re looking for a huge swap meet it’s there too. For your first visit, I’d allow at least one day for looking at vehicles and another day if you’re interested in swap meet items. It’s a four day event and it’d be hard to see everything in four days.
