Anyone know where I can get an emergency brake cable for my 49 KB2?

Re: emergency brake cable

Is it a emergency brake on the back of the trans? I ask as my 41 k1 is a cable assembly to the rear brake shoes and it shows this in the parts book as being correct.

Re: emergency brake cable

That will more than likely have to be an e-bay find, if you need everything.

The Stainless shielding you can find here. https://restorationstuff.com/shop/#fb0=1

Or try a call to these guys they get a bunch of NOS and used stuff. https://travelallparts.com/K_KB_1941_49/c303

It is on the driveshaft, the ball at the end of the cable at the brake lever broke off.

Ferd used a similar system in late 40s, I bought a repop cable from Dennis Carpenter if I remember right, just need to get right length,
