I like a thin coat of copper seal. The only downside is it will be very stuck if you ever go to take it off. Curious to see what others say.

Second on the copper spray. If your pulling it off again, I would do a new one anyway. They are not the most modern of material to use twice probably.

Copper it is. I just ordered head, side valve covers, and oil pan gaskets from Olson. Might get the head off today if I can find an extra pair of hands to remove the hood.

Think it’s ok to use a couple plug holes with 14mm bolts to attach a lifting cable ?

Are you taking the entire front clip off or just the hood? If it is just the hood?

Before you go and slather a bunch of shyte on the new gasket, it might be a good idea to follow the recommendation of the gasket maker.
If this were my engine I would be calling https://arp-bolts.com/ and converting to studs. The original head-bolts have suffered hundreds, if not thousands of heat cycles and will have become brittle and at risk of breaking. It is the stretch of the bolt or stud that will keep the head tight. The OEM bolts may not be able to stretch without breaking.
DO NOT do the stupid thing and use grade eight(8) bolts. the threads in the block are not strong enough to hold while the grade eight fastener is tightened enough to stretch.

Thinking about studs. Any suggestions; manufacturers and or suppliers ?
Thanks in advance,
