Gas Knob Cable

I just bought a new Bowden cable to attach the gas knob to the carb but am not sure how to remove the old one from the knob and attach the new one?
Has anyone done this before? If so, can you walk me through it? TIA!

Don't get discouraged. This might take a few days for someone to answer you situation.
This cable, as you describe it, is for the hand throttle. You do not need it for starting or driving.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Thanks! I’m not worried. I have some time before I need to work on it.
