Looking for an exaust manifold , will fit a BLD 250 , 269 282 308 ect. Having a bit of difficulty locating one . I found a 125931 R1 intake but if some one has both and wants to part with them I would sure apprieate it . It is what is on a BD 308 .
Thanks Eric AKA The Manic Mechanic

I know the intake ports a larger on the 282 and 308 when compared to the BLD, are the exhaust the same?

I'm not sure , I just know that the part numbers are the same for the exaust manifold . I guess you can tell if you have the right gasket Huh ?

Well if the part number is the same, than it is a good bet they are. As far as gaskets, as long as they don't reach into the port area, and seal they have done their job.
Exhaust manifolds take a beating on medium and heavy engines, lots of thermal and physical stress. Finding a used one that doesn't require some machine work would be a coup.

By machine work CB , do you mean like re-surfacing ?

Yeah, and some crack repair. The bigger the engine and therefor longer the manifold the more it is prone to warping. It is why IHC 1st went with multi piece and then two separate manifolds on the RD series.

I have two of these I'm not going to be using. Same part number that you shared with us. These are from Blue Diamond 269 engines.
Send me a PM and we can share phone numbers and all that stuff.
I'm in the middle of unloading this winters wood for the wood stove's but, can put a straight across each of them to find the best one for you.
It may take me a day to get to get to this but, we can talk about it.
I'm thinking just shipping will cover it if you decide on one.
I also have a cam shaft, crank shaft, head, block w/o liners or main caps, oil pan, valve cover, side cover and one clutch inspection cover. I think I have an oil filter canister too.
If anybody needs any of these things let me know.
