steering gear box (gemmer)

hello to you. can anyone tell me how to disassemble the worm on a rod of gear gear box (gemmer), screwed or squeezed ???i did removed the cup bearing top one but........... thank's for info.

It's pressed on. There is a key on the inside of the worm gear so don't try and twist it. Here is a picture of one off. I never took mine off, I found this on a different site and the guy mentioned using a hydraulic puller.
