Brake and clutch grommets

There are rubber grommets on the brake and clutch pedals at the firewall. I have looked at all of the usual rubber parts suppliers (Restoration Specialties, OLD IH Parts) but have not found anything like them. Please group, suggest a few options.

Try googling 1 inch rubber bump stops. You could probably find either a bumper that looks close, for a hood / trunk or modify or glue small rubber Bump Stop. Look at a Jeep hood bump stop, kinda has the same slip on type.

He's looking for the dust seals in the peddle arms, I was talking to a guy about these a while back, I'll ask if he found anything out,

It would be called a brake and clutch shank seal.

Re: Brake and clutch grommets

Grommets usually have a hole in them. Bump stops do not have a hole.
Every old IHC I have owned has/had a piece of what looked like belting around the pedal shaft. The 2 inch square piece of belting covered the opening around the pedal shaft at the floorboard. The floorboard also had/has a bump stop.
Any place that sells reproduction parts for vehicles of the 40s and 50s will have these rubber pieces. Bob Drake Reproductions has been my go to place.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have
