Look at the pic I boxed the bleeder locations. The control valve is in the box where the banjo fitting is. See the part with the air filter tube connection? That's the control valve and the bleeder screw is on the top side of it. If that's not bled first, bleeding just the the slave valve, the SV will probably not get proper piston travel if air is present in the circuit that pushes it.
Did you watch the video? Plain as day it shows the control valve is the first thing activated in the HV. Push the pedal,it activates the MC,pressure from the MC goes to the control valve which in conjunction with the vacuum in the HV activates the slave cylinder which then sends the pressure to the wheel cylinders. Omit a step in the bleeding procedure and something isn't going to work properly.

Thanks. Can't do vids as it overloads my small daily allowance from Hughesnet. I found the bleeder for the horizontal slave cylinder, but not the control valve. It feels like a half-inch square pipe plug, but there also is an access hole directly above a hex nut that might have a hole in it (pic). I can't reach the square one with a half inch drive extension, so am guessing its the smaller nut?

Happy here. Finding the two bleeder plugs on the HV were a breeze after I realized what a dummy I was.......I had not removed the access panel under the door! Anyway, brakes work now and should work even better after I install the new hose on the vacuum junction.

Where is a good place to buy a new set of sparkplug wires?

The vacuum supply hose is special and there is NO substitute.

The only hose that was disconnected was the short 5" one I mentioned earlier that runs the two-speed axle switch and I assumed I would lose vacuum everywhere unless it was reconnected as it comes from a junction. The old one was a bit too short to reconnect easily so I bought 8" of heavy rubber hose with same i.d. Does this short hose also have to be of the construction you showed?

YES! it must be for vacuum service! NO execptions.

No a single group 2 is plenty to crank a BLD if the cables and connections are good.

The hose is sold by the foot which is how the pn is priced and comes in 50ft rolls. I cut what ever length the customer wanted (min. 1ft.) many,many times. We used a lubed hacksaw,it was fastest cutting by hand.

Now the trick is to find somebody that will sell a few feet rather than a 50 foot roll. Rock Auto has the cheapest, but it'll still be in a 50 ft roll which comes to $336 for one roll each of 1/2" and 3/4" like I need. Sucks when I only need a foot or two of 3/4" and five or six feet of 1/2".
