KB-2 water pump rebuild

so you drill out the center of the shaft where fan mount goes? you think there will be problems once you put some tension on the fan belt and start spinning it at 3000 rpm?

I'd be a little worried of it cracking, how are you addressing this?

New bearing / shaft.

The hole in the old shaft was drilled to make it easier to remove the impeller and flange.
