Welp - I gotta guy from Canada that wants to buy this truck from me. I don't know how its going to pan out just yet.

They do make pos. ground 6 volt alternators. While not original, it still maintains the 6volt system and eliminates the negatives(no pun intended) of generator/voltage regulator systems. Usually just requires some adapting of the mounting bracket.

I would be leery of potential buyer from Canada as you are quite a distance and there is no shortage of K models up here. Scams ya know..

I already have a pos ground 6V alternator...and its also the correct vintage to look 'right' installed on this truck.

I'm already very versed in ALL forms of internet scams. I have been buying and selling cars and car parts on the internet for almost 20 years now. This guy is certainly legit. If we decide to go ahead with this deal, he will be driving to Texas with cash money and his car hauler to get the truck. Won't be any money orders from Nigeria and "his people" won't be showing up to get it, etc....lol.

Welp, I have agreed to sell this truck. I wonder what projects the motorhead fairy has in store for me next? I bet it'll be interesting!

Horrors, you could come and :idea: buy my 76 MG Midget, Needs a motor. ;) Oops, I guess I could suggest one of the KB3's :) Might be a long road trip. :twisted:
