Re: HELP WITH ID

What movie?
If you Google vehicles used in movie, the information will be available
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have
Thinking risks being controversial and possibly being offensive

Re: HELP WITH ID

This doesn't change the original question, but I don't think that's actually a truck.

It appears to be a large cut-out picture of a truck.

Look at the backside wheels and shadow - there's something there that doesn't make sense for a real truck . . . but makes perfect sense for a fake one.

Still curious what kind of truck it is . . .

Does have the look of a Russian clone of a Stude from the 50's look to it.

Re: HELP WITH ID

Hmmmm . . .

I've watched that scene multiple times on YouTube and I'm gonna have to agree with some of the posters on the other board you linked to - first that its not even a US vehicle, and second that it's CGI. Yes, it appears to be moving and shows chassis attitude change and the drivers shadow leaning forward, but the shadow is just . . .wrong. It doesn't match the rest of the scene shadows (in particular the orange posts) and its too smooth over what looks to be a significant pavement irregularity.

And I have seen the movie a couple of times, and while you can argue about all the inaccuracies in it, it was still a fun and easy to watch flick.

Both my wife and I enjoyed it very much.

CB89, Kinda looks like a Russki truck, I like it.

and while you can argue about all the inaccuracies in it
It doesn't matter, now I know what kind of truck it is. With all the special effects these days, Ya never know.

Re: HELP WITH ID

IMCDb figured there's a GAZ 53 truck in the movie.
