Home made socket

After re-building the cylinder head on my BD220, I needed to be turning the engine over by hand. I did not have a socket large enough, so i made this. Bit rough, but it did the job. By putting a smaller nut and bolt through the centre, it aloud to to use a socket and wrench.

I applaud your creativity. Good job! With your fabrication skills, you are not confined to what you can find on a store shelf.

Re: Home made socket

Thank you. Unfortunately i do not have an endless supply of money, nor did i know what size i required, so i measured the flats of the nut and went from there. As i said bit rough but done the job. Luke
