Transmission cradle

A plywood cradle shaped from a template and attached to a motorcycle jack and that mounted on a four wheel moving dolly made it easy for my one person transmission removal and re-install.

Re: Transmission cradle

I made this simple tool for winding and installing the impulse spring in an IHC magneto
Another tool born out of necessity is this motorcycle wheel clamp. It is a floating caliper design. By moving two pins the clamp can accommodate tires from 2 inches to 10 inches. The clamping power comes from a small floor jack hydraulic ram.
