Power bleeder by shop vac

After fabing a new mid 90's GM power booster and master cylinder on my 48 KB-7 brake linkage, I could not get the rear brakes bled. I have the KB on a 69 Chevy C-40 running gear.

I ran 2 pieces of tubing into a glass Coke bottle, then used short pieces of larger tubing and hoses to reduce my shop vac hose down to one of the tubes coming out of the bottle. Taped all joints with electrical tape. Took the other tube coming out of the bottle and stuck it onto the rear brake bleeder. The unit sucked the air and brake fluid through the lines and into the bottle until I had the rear brakes bled. Worked like a champ! Sorry, I can't find the picture I had of the unit.

Nothing gets "sucked". Your Shop Vac lowered the pressure at one end of the brake system, then the atmospheric pressure at the other end forced (blew) the brake fluid through the lines.

The vac also lowers the pressure around the saws and wood working tools, forcing the sawdust into the filter bag in the shop vac. A great pressure manipulating tool!
