Steering box

So now that I'm back on the road looking to get an upgraded steering box for my 53 T'All. It's always had about a 2-3" play in the wheel, but now that I'm traveling at 55-60mph....that play in the wheel is annoying. Is there any adjusting that I can do to tighten it up? I've been reading around and some places say that a late 70's Dodge Ram Charger box will work or 79-84 Toyota 4x4. Any insight is much appreciated :h0212: ?

Re: Steering box

Detective work done. Figured out that the nut and flathead screw located on the steering box is for adjustments Now just need to find an alignment shop that's not afraid to put my old mistress up on a rack and align the wheels for me.
