tailgate window regulator

I acquired a '66 Travelall that sat in the weather with the rear window down for 3 years. Managed to reach in and remove the clips to slide the glass out and access the regulator and motor. Freed the mechanism up and get the electricity flowing again. I should have stopped there but decided to take the motor out of the regulator to clean and relube everything with fresh lith grease. Should have taken pics, but didn't. moved the gear too far, and the coiled spring ...sprung. Now I can't tell for certain which way it goes on and how to rewind it. Does someone have a clue, maybe a pic?

Best I could find is from the MT-118 parts manual...

Key 7 is for the complete regulator but the arrow points to what looks like a coil spring(?). It appears the spring loop sits on some kind of tab? The center likely goes into a slot?

Here's a link for the complete manual;

It's in PDF and downloadable in whole or part.

I see this is your first post,how familiar are you with International's?
