Brake Fluid and Gear oil

Does my 53 Travel All have a place for brake fluid :t0117: ? And does it need gear oil? :t0116: ? my old Jenny hasn't been stopping too well nor has she been shifting as easy as she usually does. I read somewhere :m03104: that the engine oil supplies all the lubrication for the driveshaft? I haven't attempted to fill the gear oil since I had new rear end installed a few months back. And no, I haven't forgotten about upgrade pics of interior.

Re: Brake Fluid and Gear oil

there is a plug on the side of the transmission, with a square head or a square hole in it,

you fill transmission up to that hole level, there is one on the bottom to drain old stuff out first.
