Finally have time to work on the truck.
I have painted the frame with POR15 and then an epoxy paint.
I have the engine all assembled, painted and installed.

I know it is a long shot but thought I would ask. Did you make any patterns for the wood cab pieces. It looks like i will be getting a 1926 S26. Body is in good shape but no cab.

Thanks

No, I didn't make any templates. There is a template that was made by another member, I hope this helps.

Thank You. Is the Six Speed Special cab the same as on the S26? I have a @929 SSS already if that is the case. If nothing else it seems like the S26 cab is longer but maybe it is because many of the cabs I have seen are wood. Working on getting some rims to be able to bring it home. Also need to find a piston for the 4SL Lycoming engine which may be a challenge. Thanks Again.

I am not sure on the cab size for the change in models. I replicated my cab from the old one.

I've been following your build since you started replicating the cab and and am just wowed by the results. You are in the "reward" stage as it all is coming together. Congratulations! It looks (and I'm sure will work) fantastic. Great job!

Yes, it is the rewarding time as it all comes together. The roof material is in transport, cant wait to get the top on and the sun visor made.
