A few more pics of the cab, getting closer to the sanding stage.
I have worked a lot with both metals and wood, I have a few skills developed. Once the cab is framed, I am going to start bending the exterior metal skins. That's the easy part, then I have to remove all the body rivets and start pounding out the imperfections in the front fenders. The paint is not a problem, I have painted a lot of vehicles in my days, its the engine teardown and replace all the gaskets that I am dreading. I have not rebuilt an engine in over 10 years, and this engine does not have the tork specs available so its going to be a slow process researching the allows, threads and position in the motor. I have talked to the automotive professors here and all they could tell me was that there is info on the threads, I have already gotten that info on this forum (actually I got more from your guys than the professors here?).
I have purchased an ST5 carb for the engine, and I am ordering a kit from Jon to rebuild it. I have torn it all apart and cleaned it, so its ready for when the kit arrives.
