Looks like the pieces have enough meat to be used as templates, something to go on.

All the joints in the metal are now welded, time to prep and paint the cab skins.

Very, very nice. Can't imagine how it could be better.

I'm kinda late to the party. Wonderful workmanship! Makes me want to go outside and do my B-3.
Thanks!

Great job, I really like the running boards you built. What thickness sheet metal did you use?
Did you use a die, or a rounded punch with plywood backing?
This is my last old truck, unless I find another one.

I used a punch and plywood backing, it made a thump once it passed the first layer of ply. The metal was 16 gauge cold rolled steel.

Re: 1926 S-26 IHC Custom

Frame is bare now, found a broken main leaf on the passenger rear. Took it off and getting new ones for both sides with new bushings.

Tore the motor apart, everything looks great except for the heavy buildup of grime in the fluid cooling area around the pistons walls. Removed all the carbon buildup on the pistons and valves, wasn't too bad. I broke a piston oil ring on #5 when I was reinstalling the cylinder unit back on the lower block. Just wanted to look everything over and replace all the gaskets. Now its a job to tear apart my spare motor to get a ring. Oh well, life happens.

The oil pump and the exterior housing is in great shape, no stress cracks found.

The transmission housing was full of oil and grime, need to make new gaskets. The clutch plates are destroyed but the pressure plates are good. Not too much of a problem, just a lot of hours cleaning all the grime and oil off her.
