Water pump B3 ihc
I have been working diligently for 7 months on my truck and working full time plus two kids under 5. So here is my progress. Cab off and on a custom dolly, the motor and trans. pulled. Engine torn down cleaned and installed NOS pistons from Tom Underwood (Parts of the Past inc.) Engine plus extras coated with epoxy primer. Tom Had all my bearings and a lot of other goodies. I got my cam taken care of!!! and my crank. I am waiting on rod piston pin bushings and then it's all going to be painted then put back together. The carb. is at the carburetor shop in Eldon Mo, getting a kit made. Tom found me a water pump kit and that is going next week to a rebuild shop to put it all together. I got the clutch, pressure plate and fly wheel done and picked it up yesterday. You can see it all at 1933international.blogspot.com

Thanks I can not believe my luck on parts, help from this site and others. My goal is have the engine running by June the one year mark. Then start on the frame, cab and fenders. I don't know what to do with the 1930's custom metal top it is what saved the cab over the years.

The premise of a "Build thread" is to keep everything in one place. Makes no sense having one if new threads are started for the same truck.
This should be merged into the original.

getting closer.
I got some paint on. Pistons in crank and rods torqued. Mocked up most of the motor before I put it all together for good. Every thing turned like a dream. Got the generator rebuilt. Just need to paint the oil pan and side cover. make a couple gaskets. For give me for putting it together on the floor but I couldn't find a engine stand to hold or trust having my motor on it. Needless to say its is a bit heavy!

Some very nice work going on I see. Yes these old engines are very heavy and I wouldn't trust one of these new elchepo engine stands just remember back in the days they would rebuild engines on the side of the roads so I am sure the nice clean floor of your garage will do.

Keep up the great work.

Well I got tired of working on the floor and built a stand. Glad I have a pile of square tube and c channel laying around. I got the oil pan and the rest of the tin painted black. I got the head on and new studs torqued down. Now all I need to do is cut some gaskets and finish a few small things like wire all the nuts.
