B-3 restore

I am new to this so here it goes I pulled home my wife's Great,Great Grandfathers 1933 IHC B-3. I started going threw the FAB2 engine last week and before i go too far i am looking for cam bearings or a equivalent. any ideas? So far I have found most of the parts that I need except the cam.

Re: B-3 restore

Had another thought on cam bearings. Some engines over the years (Detroit Diesel) have used bronze cam bearings. If you don't find new bearings check with a machine shop about making some brass bushings of appropriate size. Be sure to drill an oil hole and align it as to the original bearing. MM

Try Kanter's. Not sure about IHC's of that vintage, but they do supply complete engine rebuild kits, for MOST makes and models of cars and trucks. If you take measurements, they may be able to cross-reference compatible parts for your application. Hope this helps! https://www.kanter.com/ecatalog/i/EmailHeader.jpg
