K7, k6, k5 ?

Hi just recently bought my first international! The title says kb-5 , the owner said kb-6 ,the vin number starts out k739052 according to some research I think I bought 1946 k7... Does this seem correct? Any help will be much appreciated. As in where to get manuals and good sites for parts that will be needed. Will need glass and seals inside door handles and I'm sure gaskets for leaking engine

K 5 would have the ft wayne cab and the headlights in the fenders. The -6 -7 would have the headlights on the fender in a "pod"
Your serial number indicates a -7
The 6, and 7 would have an OHV engine, the -5 and lower would have a flathead.

Here is what I do. Your situation may be different and you can make that adjustment when you reduce the picture size. I have a Blackberry Priv with an 18 MP camera. I use PAINT to reduce the size directly off the Priv. Double click on your picture, use paint. click on reduce, I have to use a maximum of 15%. Click on file, use jpeg and add to a file folder you make before starting this. The file could be labeled as FORUM, if you like. Do yourself a favour and name the picture what it is or you may have trouble finding you picture when you look for it later. I have files over 20,100 pictures of our non IHC and only posted a fraction of these.
I know you can figure this out. I did and I am 71.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Looks pretty solid , and the hoist looks like it works ? I may have the hook for the other side on your bumper if you want one . What do you think your goals are ?

Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm currently restoring this 1946 ks7. And recently purchased a 1949 kb-8 that is very solid. The ks7 has been quite the project but working with what time is aloud it's coming along well. And yes I would be interested in another hook for the front of this truck

To administrator. I know this thread isn't seeing a lot of action. Shouldn't it be in the K and KB section?

We don't get to see those BIG KB's much! Post more pictures if you can as was posted above they are very different from the more common K1,K2,K3 pickups.
