This is the product I used on "L" and "R" fenders and my 1940 Ford. This welting works so much better than the OEM bad design. The OEM welting holds water and dirt making and promotes rusting.
I like to fit the welting to the fenders with multiple paper clips. STAPLES sell them for reasonable prices if you buy a dozen.
I use a heat gun to help relax the welt. The bender bolt holes can be marked and punched before gluing the welt to the Fender. I like and use http://www.tcpglobal.com/MMM-21210.html ... FpQ0fZFycx
I have never seen a fender welt on the rear fender of the 14 L&R pickups that passed this way. I always use welting, on the rear fenders, at assembly time.
