1950 L132 on 2011 chassis build

Quick build summary for a truck i put together (also current listed for sale)
1950 L132 long box came from Iowa
2011 ford 3/4 ton chassis came from Virginia

Build theme: fun, original exterior, safe, resale

Two trucks i picked up in Iowa off Ebay:
Image

sourced a 2011 3/4 van chassis, 4.6 V8
stripped both
Image

wheelbase lined up great within an inch or so
Image

found a theme matching s10 seat and some new door skins/head liner off ebay. fire wall got modified for engine clearance.

super fun cruiser turned out awesome. lots of power and nice and tight!
lots of wiring, new glass, a fresh aluminum radiator, light work, bumber and side step fitment, rear hitch, etc. lots of work behind this quick summary but im very happy with the build! the 49 chevy got the same build treatment too as you can see in one of the pics. 49 4100 on 2008 3/4 GMC chassis.

Great Build! and- plenty of character, too!
The wheel base is up perfect. Love it! Any Interior photos?

I like the look of a more modern chassis with extra width. The fenders get filled nicely. Good Job.

Good looking build and ditto the above about the wheelbase and how the fenders are nicely filled out.

Have been mostly daily driving this thing for 2 years now, put 8k miles on it after moving to a new house / shop and still putting it to work.
still fun and turning heads.
