I'm just an old truck guy trapped in a hot rodder's world.

I have to ask. "Are you an old guy who likes old trucks, or a random guy, of some age, who likes old trucks?"
I must say, the trapped part is a pleasant way to go. It is easy to lose the trapped situation when one's health and survival becomes a priority. "Circling the drain" was not great.
I am the person who fits any combination of your signature. Somehow an old car got into the mix and screwed things up, a bit. I wish I had never allowed my 82 year old Ford car to get into the mix. I much prefer old IHC trucks, old stationary engines and vintage machinery.

Nikki,
Do you still have that crew cab?

Yes, I still have the crew-cab. I had every intention to make something out of the crew-cab, BUT, old age and failing health are limiting factors right now. Just as I was starting to feel better and able to get out to the shop, I got a flu. I cannot walk 10 paces, right now.
I have had the crew-cab in dry storage since it arrived here.
I have gathered many components for this build. Cummins B, 24 valve(new), NVG4500 (new), NVG 241dld, Dana 60s with disc brakes, a proper IHC R150 frame. I saved the CC from going for scrap. The cab has little to no rust.
