Slow fishing day so I messed around with the valve lash.
Things one can do under a shade tree.

Well it off to Yellowstone back country for a few days.
Fly-Fishing, Horseback riding and of course camping out in the old truck.
I have been taking in the view of the night sky it is just incredible.
The Meteor showers are amazing this time of year.
Wife and son stayed back at the homestead in Idaho Falls
so I am on my own , life is good!

Wrapping up a nice fishing trip with a stop in my favorite town of Ririe, Idaho.
Fishing is always good in these parts but can't beat a visit to the coffee shop on Main Street
to pay a visit to my old farm buddies. My brides father was born and raised here , so I have been
fortunate to come to know the area well.
Fresh sweet corn , potatoes and snake river trout for dinner tonight.. Life is good...

And the hopper action off the gate was insanelly good :)
You can't see it well but the stone engraving on the weir gate says "Farmers Friend"
The weir deverts snake river water for irrigation into the corn and potato fields.
My old binder fits right in..

Be well ..

Light rain on the camper tarp roof last night
shook right off one heck of a nice trip in the old truck.
Sharing smiles the entire journey.
