Posted: Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:27 amAs previously mentioned there were originally factory rubber mushroom bumpers,
good once the hood is closed.
Below are a couple methods I use,
The lay in place rubber bumper , and sometimes I will wedge the rubber IH mats you can see under the
red shop rag and close the hood they stay in place while driving to not only protect the paint but add a bit of connivence
for quick hood openings, and nice fender protectors as your leaning into it and laying tools on the fenders.
In the photo for front is a 1/2 thick piece of felt, makes for nice bumper welts when the hood is closed.

also Outback parts in Washington state. This was many year ago for all rubber and felts,
Felts were for the door windows that includes glides.
Outback likely is a good bet for excellent service in my experience.

Cab interior is completely refurbished all felts and rubber. Head liner ect..
