Re: Little Red build
Secondly I found a good deal on a set of michelin 30 x 9.5 x 15 tires for little red. They ride really nice, so I am one step closer to the journey to the concourse.
The next is a question for the mechanics in our midst. The stock suburban front suspension uses flat leaf springs. I have included pictures of where these springs attach. My thought is to pull just the upper leaf off the leaf spring and flip it upside down, so the spring would ride on top of the attachment bolts in the spring brackets. This would lower the front end by about 1"to 1.25".
Does this seem like a workable solution ?
There is a sway bar installed, should I take it of and reinstall, or just go for it?
What about steering geometry, my thought is that 1" is not enough of a change to negatively affect the ride, but please let me know your thoughts...
