Project 51 L 110

Someone needed to start off this build thread, so I'll put in some photos of my truck that is about finished. We have been waiting to get the chrome from the re-chrome shop to finish it out. We are currently at 15 weeks and waiting. I went ahead and insured and tagged it just before Christmas so that when the chrome does get here, there won't be much delay.[attachment=0]IMG_1453x.jpg

Re: Project 51 L 110

tailgate my son and I made incorporating the logo from the original tailgate. Design is similar to the original but with out the raised or embossed sections. We added the vertical sections to add stiffness.

Re: Project 51 L 110

Another side shot. The hood is not on because the rubber bumpers that cushion it when it is closed got lost between fitting and reassembly after painting. My builder is going to have to re-fit each one to get the best gap without rubbing the fenders. All to be part of the final work when the chrome arrives.
