New to the forum. I thought I would post pictures of my 50 L-162. I have been doing a lot of dent and rust repair. this winter when I can heat the barn up to a workable temperature. I pulled the brake lines and replaced the master cylinder and brake pistons.I have bent some new brake lines, but I am waiting to become better at bending and not braking lines. I am getting ready to pull the engine and trans and replace the motor mounts and paint the engine and transmission. I have been unable to find the font motor mount or insulator. does anyone know where I can purchase one. I have done a lot of searching online for good parts suppliers. Who do you reccommend?

Are you talking of this piece? number 2 in the picture.
There were a few fellows who made their own. I seem to remember someone looking into a place that could actually vulcanize a new mount. I may have a used one, not sure.

Yes, I am looking for numbers 2 and 6. my number 2 is missing completely and my 6's are in multiple pieces and as thin as paper.

Thanks Dean, I will remove what is left of the mount and contact these guys. See what they have to say.
Hopefully this weekend, I will get the engine and trans off the frame and pick up my front wheels and running boards from the sandblaster.

Scott, the bottom ones are only about 1/2 thick I believe. Some people have made them out of belting material, they are more for vibration and noise control so there is no metal on metal on the lower legs. The top one is the most important one for the Motor itself, In my opinion.

The cab and fender are back on the chassis. I primed the body with a 2k surfacer and I am now in the process of sanding. I rebuilt the brake booster (hydrovac.) I have also been painting mics. pieces as I go along. Hopefully I will be putting some color on the truck shortly.
