I purchased the lights from Empire Chrome. The light is made by United Pacific. Chrome Turn Signal Lamp Amber and Red Lens. CR. 2face T/S W/PL. CR Trim Ring. 33103 is the part number.

Re: Scott's L-162

After an afternoon of messing with the door alignment I got it darn close. I also put the window track and lock parts in.

Re: Scott's L-162

I found this gem in a back of a local tow yard. I was told it runs and drives. I think it's a 1960's R190
I would lose my happy home if I brought it home. :t1812:
I have permission to harvest the vent window hinges tomorrow. Hopefully the hinges come easy. Wish me luck and a full can of WD40.

Re: Scott's L-162

I was up early this morning to harvest parts. The parts "gods" must have taken pity on me, because I did not have issues getting the vent windows out. I scored the side marking off the truck also.

If that parts truck has electric wipers, I'd be interested in the wiper motor assembly. The large trucks were almost all 12 volt.

Re: Scott's L-162

More of the bigger trucks had the fresh air heater and arm rests. Be sure to carefully remove the clips from the door. You will need the clips for the screws that hold the armrests on.
Watch for a tachometer. If this truck has a tachometer, get the distributor for the tachometer drive. The tachometer cable will be needed also..
If your truck does not have the right inside sunvisor, you may want to take one off the donor. Left and right are interchangeable .
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Re: Scott's L-162

Re-mounted the vent window hinges off the R190 frame onto the L162 window frame. A little tweaking with the Dremel and they should work just fine!
